Jesse Ship found his calling as a writer while teaching English in Taipei. As a Belgian national who grew up in Toronto and Paris, it only made sense for him to professionally pursue the passions he was raised on: the arts, culture and travel. His past work has had him out interviewing the latest experimental band or legendary dj, working in Toronto’s Film and TV industry, and writing market writing copy or planning social media campaigns while dreaming of his next southeast Asian adventure from his home in Kensington Market. His work has appeared in outlets such as Vice, The Toronto Star, Pax News, AOL, Design Lines, Exclaim and many others.
