So some of you may know that I’ve been taking part in a nutrition study where I am getting free produce and whole grains shipped to my door thanks to U of T, St. Michaels Hospital and FoodShare.

One of the crazy veggies that comes in the box every other week is a stubby little vegetable called okra.  I’d never actually cooked my own okra, but having lived in Taiwan a few years ago, we were introduced thanks to Japan’s largest fast food chain, Yoshinoya.

Anyway, I came across this incredibly awkward amateur cooking video from South Carolina and thought it was worth sharing.  It’s probably not the healthiest way to get okra into your diet.
